Matchpoint
This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, protect and otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) — information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact or locate a single person. Please read it carefully to understand how we handle PII in accordance with our website.
Section 01
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number or other details to help you with your experience.
Section 02
We collect information from you when you place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, fill out a form or enter information on our site.
Section 03
We may use the information we collect when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, browse the website, or use certain other site features:
Section 04
We do not use vulnerability scanning or scanning to PCI standards. We use regular malware scanning.
Your personal information is kept behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights and are required to keep the information confidential. Sensitive information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. We never ask for credit card numbers.
Section 05
Yes. Cookies help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart, understand and save your preferences for future visits, and compile aggregate data about site traffic and interaction. You can set your browser to warn you each time a cookie is sent, or turn off all cookies — some features that make your site experience more efficient may then not work properly.
Section 06
We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your Personally Identifiable Information to outside parties unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety.
Non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising or other uses.
Section 07
We do not include or offer third-party products or services on our website.
Section 08
Google’s advertising requirements can be summed up by Google’s Advertising Principles. We use Google AdSense advertising on our website. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site; its use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on previous visits to our site and other sites on the Internet.
You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Settings page, opt out through the Network Advertising Initiative Opt Out page, or use the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser add-on.
Section 09
When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission enforces the COPPA Rule. We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13.
Section 10
The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States. Should a data breach occur, we will notify you via email within 1 business day.
We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle, which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law.
Section 11
The CAN-SPAM Act sets the rules for commercial email and gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, follow the instructions at the bottom of each email and we will promptly remove you from all correspondence.
